I just sent this out in my newsletter, but I know many of you don’t receive it.
The Pepsi Refresh project failed, but I am still planning to build a well in a village that lacks access to clean water.
There are more than 1 billion people in the world without clean water. This is staggering to me. Charity:Water, led by Scott Harrison, is aiming to make a dent in this number through the efficient construction of wells and other water projects. For $5,000, you can provide clean water to a village for 30 years.
That’s what I’m aiming to do.
I have donated $2,000 already and am now asking my hero community to help me get it to $5,000 by the end of the year. As we get close to the gift-giving time of year, please consider making a donation. Think about encouraging your students, family, and friends to look into it a well. This is a perfect example of the combined small acts of everyday people making a world-changing experience.
