January 2nd – A Day For Heroes

A year ago today Wesley Autrey saved Cameron Hollopeter from an oncoming train at the 137th Street and Broadway station. He did a big thing and is considered a hero.

In 1873 Marie-Françoise-Thérèse Martin was born in Alençon, France. She became Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face, the patron saint of AIDS sufferers, aviators, florists, illness, and missions. She did many small things and is considered a hero.
