Spiderman 3: Lesson 2 – It’s Never Too Late

Today doesn’t care what you did yesterday.  The choices you made in the past when confronted with heroic opportunities don’t matter the next time one comes up.  Every new chance comes fresh.

Harry Osborn commits a series of violent acts against his friend Peter Parker, but in the end he dies a hero because he remembers what it feels like to do the right thing.

When you go into work tomorrow and you see that person who annoys you (but you have never worked out exactly why) don’t walk past and complain about her to your coworker because that’s what you do every day.  Today doesn’t care what you did every other day.  Today would be happy to see you smile at that person and walk on.

It’s never too late.

This was indeed a very strong message in the end of the movie. A great similar saying I once heard is, “every event in life remains neutral until you provide it meaning”.
