The Traveling Button

I just got this email from a colleague in California working with Phil Zimbardo.

Today I was working with Dr. Lester in Watsonville, CA. We were working on technology stuff and I opened the drawer on his desk to get a pen and there it was . . . A “Hero in Waiting” Button. I grabbed it and said where did you get this!!??? He said a little boy who was a patient gave it to him . . . how sweet is that and what a small world. It gave me a great feeling!

Could not wait to share it with you!

My mind is blown.

I’ve never presented in California. I’ve given some Californian adults buttons, but never a kid. How did this kid get the button in the first place and what a cool thing that he decided to give it to his doctor?
