Who Am I?

I had lunch with a friend, Bob Grimes, the other day and he sent me an email afterwards because our conversation had reminded him of an exercise he had done years ago.  A group leader had asked him the question, “Who are you?”  Instead of answering straight away he went home and thought about it for a few days and came up with the following answer.

I am my heritage and my values.
I am who I have the courage to be.
I am part of everyone I have ever known.
I am an answer to someone’s prayers.
I am an influence on someone else.

I think it’s the answer of a hero.  A hero to a lot of people.  Who are you?
